Its funny watching dogs mate
but its more embarrassing to crack a joke about it
in presence of an elderly teacher. I was unlucky or may be the dog was
lucky. That morning I arrived late, unfortunately Mr Paul was at the gate.
Kama kawaida ilibidi nipige magoti (as usual i had to kneel down ) with other latecomers. Gafla bin vuu (suddenly),
dogs appeared just right before us and started mating. Boys are always
boys. We made comments and laughed. Mr Paul ignored our comments intentionally. Hio umbwa ya Mr Paul ikonaa... (Mr Paul's dog has...) was the comment that made
him stop to ignoring. Nilidhani(I thought)I was lucky because I didn't make the
comment. Other pupils were released to go to class except the 3 suspects
which included me. Suddenly a miracle occurred before we were punished, Mr Paul's dog separated from the rest and went and stood next to Mr Paul
scratching its bleeding mouth vigorously. I could see the shame in Mr Paul's
eyes. Poor dog! The dog was not mating, a u-shaped bone had stuck in
its mouth holding the molars tightly. The dog was in grave pain. I
looked around, fortunately I found a long nail. I managed to convince
them that it could help. While Mr Paul held his dog tightly between his
legs. I inserted the nail between the u-shaped bone and pushed it up slowly
removing the bone. I later released why Mr Paul was ignoring our comments.
